Al-Raqqa, al-Tabqa, Deir ez-Zor’s youth head to Sêmalka

Dozens of al-Raqqa, al-Tabqa, and Deir ez-Zor’s youth have headed to the Sêmalka border crossing to partake activities of the sit-in where a tent was erected before the Sêmalka crossing point to condemn the Turkish occupation bombing on Başûr Kurdistan (southern Kurdistan) and Qandil Mountains, and the Kurdistan Democratic Party’s rejection of letting youth pass to support people of Başûr.

In the early hours of the morning, dozens of al-Raqqa, al-Tabqa, and Deir ez-Zor’s youth have headed to Sêmalka crossing point to condemn the Turkish aggression and its massacres in the Syrian north and Iraq.

The youth have gathered before the Scientific Institute for Rehabilitation and Training in al-Hukumiya hamlet to head then towards the Sêmalka border crossing.

In this regard, the Co-chair of al-Raqqa Youth Council Ahmad al-Salem said, “Today, we head towards Sêmalka crossing point to stand in solidarity in the face of Turkish aggression on the Syrian and Iraqi territories.”

Muhamad al-Khabour, one of al-Raqqa youth said, “We would not accept Turkish occupation to our land in Syrian in general, and the Syrian north in particular, we will defend our homeland and will revolt in the face of this outrageous aggression till it gets out of our country.
