Mohammed: Turkey's goal of attacks is to occupy Başûr Kurdistan

Hawar news agency (ANHA) held an interview with The Co-chair of Kurdistan Democratic Peace Party, Talal Mohammed, about the Turkish state attacks on Başûr (south Kurdistan).

"The Turkish state is constantly concerned about the Kurdish people's access to freedom and spreading democratic thought. Therefore, they are constantly attacking the Kurdish people, under pretext of the presence of PKK. They want to obstacle the freedom of the Kurdish people in south Kurdistan and Rojava, create wars and conflicts within them, especially as they want to include the south of Kurdistan under its authority, and the construction of military bases there is evidence, as it tries to build alliances and expand its authority to prevent the arrival of the Kurds to their legitimate rights and resolve their cause."

Qandil is part of Kurdistan, attacks on it is attacking the Kurdish people

Talal Mohammed explained that the attacks on Qandil are attacks on Kurdistan and the Kurdish people in full, he stated, "Turkey is not only launching attacks on the PKK, but on villages and populated areas, and aims to create instability and peace in the four parts of Kurdistan, creating strife and conflict between the Kurdish people."

The necessity to unite the Kurdish forces’ ranks

Muhammad pointed out during his speech, "In the light of the Turkish state’s attacks on Başûr Kurdistan, we see clearly Kurdish parties that want to stand up against these attacks and solve the Kurdish issue, but the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the government of Başûr Kurdistan have remained silent about these ongoing attacks on the people and regions of Başûr Kurdistan, and this shows the cooperation and standing of the Kurdistan Democratic Party with Turkey in these attacks."

He said, referring to the necessity to open the Kurdish forces to dialogue among themselves, especially in the light of these attacks against Başûr Kurdistan and unite their ranks to prevent Turkey from spreading its poison, he said, "The hostility of Turkey is not with one party or one side, but it is against the Kurdish people as a whole."

The Co-chair of Kurdistan Democratic Peace Party, Talal Mohammed, denounced the international silence on Turkey's attacks on Başûr, he said "We denounce the world and human rights organizations’ silence about these attacks on civilians and on Kurdistan lands. We have not seen any statements against these attacks. The Iraqi government and the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the government of Başûr Kurdistan determine their position."

Turkey is ready to concede with any paper to penetrate Başûr’s territories

"This crisis is getting worse day after day, and the evidence is that Turkey is arresting civilians, politicians and journalists who are rejecting the policies of the Turkish state, which are causing the collapse of its economy day by day."

Talal Mohammed pointed that the Turkish state and its attacks on Başûr Kurdistan aim to move its crisis beyond its borders, and explained that Turkey made significant concessions to Russia during its aggressive attacks on Afrin, he said, "Turkey is getting ready now to give up any paper to penetrate the territory of south Kurdistan."
