2nd day of Ta Abyad Festival for Culture , Heritage launched

The 2nd day of Tal Abyad Festival for Culture and Heritage launched in its second season, amidst a large crowd of people from various parts of the Euphrates region, while the festival is attended by representatives of many political forces in northern Syria.

Yesterday, dozens of events were held under tents set up near the festival square. On the stage, such as musical performances and dance, as well as the volleyball, marathon and cycling competitions, the people are celebrating the second day of the festival through various activities.

Today's activities began with the presented of popular foods for all the components of the canton.

The festival celebrated the sixth anniversary of the start of the revolution in western Kurdistan "Rojava", dozens of cities celebrated in northern Syria the anniversary of the revolution on the 19th of this month, and Kobanî and Qamishlo cities witnessed those celebrations as well.

As part of the activities of the festival, artistic teams from the cultural center in Girê Spî held al-Dabkeh dances this afternoon.

A football match will be held between al-Wehda and Ain Arous teams, and a presentation of the Arabian horses in the remaining hours of the festival which would conclude today.
