The problem is due to the lack of water pressure coming from the city's water pumps, as well as the problems of the old water system and, finally, the failure of the main pump in the Euphrates dam, one of four pumps that feed al-Taqba city in general.

It is noteworthy that the water unit does not have a drilling machine till now

"We do not have a drilling  machine  till now , let alone the lack of coordination between the Euphrates dam and the unit, which damages the water pumps due to the irregularity of the electricity flowing from the dam to the pumps across the service line," officials said.

The unit also accused al-Tabqa members 's violations  as part of the problem as a result of continuing violations on the public network of irrigation farms surrounding the city and non-compliance with the regulations relating to the lack of water.
