"Martyrs Families' Bakery about completion to provide bread

The Martyrs 'Families Council in Girkê Legê in coordination with the Union of Cooperative Societies in al-Jazeera canton, started the construction and operation of an automated bakery under the supervision of a cooperative association of martyrs' families.

The project in progress and the number of shareholders reached 270 shareholders

The project is a bakery for the production of bread supervised by a special association of the families of martyrs in Girkê Legê area.        After the study of the project by the Association of Cooperative Societies in al-Jazeera canton, the assembly began to register the names of shareholders, and the number of shareholders to 270 shareholders in the assembly, and each shareholder is entitled to subscribe to a maximum of 5 shares worth 100 thousand SY pounds per share. Note that the priority of participation by 80% is for martyrs’ families, while 20% were given to the people who are not the families of the martyrs.

The objective is to revive the local economy, support the economy of the martyrs' families and ensure the region’s need of bread

Project supervisors stressed that the main objective of the project is to support the local economy through the establishment of more projects, workshops and factories, in addition to the fact that the project will be an important support for the families of the martyrs. The amount of daily production of the bakery will contribute to securing the need for the hand of Girkê Legê district and its countryside and its bread.
