Known as one of oldest persons in the world!

Mustafa Mohammed Hameed known as the sheikh "Mesto", who is 127 years, which is born in 1891. He is still living with his grandchildren at his home in El-Şehbê village belonging to Suluk district in Girê Sipî/Tel-Abyed north of al-Raqqa.

According to documented cases in official records such as gerontology, the Guinness Book of Records, and other studies documenting cases after being authenticated in a reliable and official fashion, the oldest person is at 122-year-old French woman. She died 21 years ago.

Mustafa is registered in his ID with the birth of 1905, meaning that his age according to his ID is at 113 years.

Which puts him in the ranks of the world's oldest alive normally living.

Mustafa lived in Riha city (Orfa) in Bakur (north Kurdistan), and then the Ottomans expelled them during the Jamal Pasha era and went to El-Şehbê village east of Suluk district.

He was married to Yazi al-Ahmad in 1921 and he had five children and four daughters. In 1955, he married Yazi al-Ali, he had four children and four daughters. They lived in El-Şehbê village and lived with his first wife, 40 years, and his second wife passed away.

ANHA's correspondents visited the house of the elderly man, Sheikh Mesto, who lives in a modest mud house in El-Şehbê      village and during their conversation with him, they learned about his life, which lasted for a quarter and still enjoys good health and strong memory and is able to meet his needs without assistance such as "bathing and eating."

Mesto said, "When I was working under the Ottomans, it was very hard work. I was 15 years old and I lived with my family in al-Riha city we fled in 1915 because of the Ottoman rule fearing attacking our honor," says Mesto, which was under the rule of the nomads led by "Mujahim Ibn Muhaid".

The Mesto lived under harsh conditions under the rule of several countries that were colonies of Syria "the Ottomans, French and English". The most difficult periods of his life, he says, were the periods of Ottoman and French rule. Where the Ottoman era suffered from the injustice, as "the post" was the fate of anyone who violates their laws and assault on their honor in their homes.

One of the memories living in his mind that do not leave his imagination, which is still fertile with events that he lived throughout the years is the lack of water for washing, which led to the spread of lice among them so they are forced to wash their heads with urine of camels and their clothes were placed on the colony of ants, so the ants pick up lice and eat them.
