10 MW Transformer will feed 3 areas in al-Tabqa

The work had begun on the processing of the aforementioned transformer in the distribution yard a month ago, but the weakness of the possibilities delayed completion of processing.

Currently, with the necessary resources to complete the process, the transformer will generate electricity within a short period of time.

In the event of completion of the work and processing of the transformer, the excess load pressure will be lower on the main and only transformer in the Euphrates dam, which can reach 30 MW per hour up to 80%.

Note that the load capacity on the 30 MW transformer, had reached to its peak, where registered a real deficit in the supply of current up to 5 megawatt after being mandated to supply al-Mansoura town and its rural with electricity.

It is assumed that, according to the Energy Directorate in al-Tabqa area to allocate the transformer (10 Mega) to feed three areas, namely the neighborhood north of al-Tabqa city and Ayed neighborhood western, in addition to al-Bu ​​Asi area in the northwestern countryside of the city.

It is worth mentioning that the Energy Directorate has faced great difficulties, because of the pressure accumulated on the main transformer which appeared with the frequent interruption of electricity and irregularity in the effort of the transformer.
