The people of al-Karama area in al-Raqqa city are preparing to receive the first holy month of Ramadan after its liberation from IS mercenaries, amid the overcrowding of the markets and the safety.

For the first time since four years, the markets of al-Karama area are witnessing intensive preparations for the holy month ( Ramadan), away from the laws of IS mercenaries.

The markets are witnessing the atmosphere of Ramadan, filled with food for the month of Ramadan; vegetables, dates and pastries amid a heavy turnout by the people.

In addition, clerics and residents of the area have been working on the rehabilitation and lighting of mosques and the extension of carpets for the residents to be ready to pary al-Tarawih praying and religious rites in the days of Ramadan.

In this context, Abu Mohammed, the owner of a shop in al-Karama said, "The market witnessed a movement of people in preparation for Ramadan for the first time after being liberated from IS mercenaries."
