Pedagogy and Culture’s Committee organize artistic activities for al-Tabqa students

Events were held in a school in al-Rafidain neighborhood and vast participation of students, teachers of schools attended these events, included an exhibition of the arts.

The exhibition included many expressive paintings and some tools from the folklore of the region and a number of models made by children from the remains of paper and cardboard.

The play included a group of children, including the rabbit, the fox and the duck, in which the play showed the extent of the fox and the deception of the rabbit and the wisdom of the duck in making the decision. The aim was to educate the children how to protect themselves from deception and make appropriate decisions in a timely manner.

Member of Education and Pedagogy Committee in Democratic Civil Administration in al –Tabqa area Batol al-Khlief said "The aim of these events is to develop children's talents and to discover their potential by utilizing them on ground."

The main purpose to these institutions in general and Education and Pedagogy in particular to carry out such activities. It is the final elimination of the last seed of mercenaries' thought, which encourages the obscurantism, which they tried to implant in the brains of children

The events ended with popular Dabkas performed by the students wearing the popular folk costume that characterizes al-Tabqa and reflects its culture and traditions. It also aims to encourage children to adhere to the culture of their ancestors.
