Kongra Star issued statement supporting Resistance of Age in ed-Dirbasiyah

The Kongra Star in ed-Dirbasiyah declared, through a statement, its solidarity with the Resistance of the Age, and appealed to countries and Human Rights organizations to provide assistance and hold the Turkish occupation accountable for the massacres committed against the Kurdish people in Afrin.

Ed-Dirbasiyah district's women issued a statement to the public opinion under the slogan "Women, Revolt for Afrin" in support of the Resistance of the Age in the second stage.

The statement was read in front of Sherdan commune in the eastern neighborhood of ed-Dirbasiyah district in Kurdish language by the teacher Leila Ali Bakir.

The text of the statement is:

"Kurdistan's women must support the resistance of Afrin and revolt for it, and to go to the squares and do whatever they can for the Resistance of the Age."

"Women in North Syria declared the resistance against IS mercenaries’ terrorism and the Turkish occupation. Women in Afrin became a symbol of resistance and sacrificed many martyrs during their response to the Turkish aggression."

The statement added, "All countries and Human Rights organizations must provide assistance and protection to Afrin's people, restore them to their homes and hold the Turkish state accountable for the massacres committed against the people."
