KAHLED AL_JUMAH –AL_RAQQA

The Reconstruction Committee of al-Raqqa Civil Council is planning to complete the rehabilitation of the water, electricity, sewage and irrigation systems in al-Raqqa city and its countryside.

The Commission is also working on the construction of a temporary iron bridge connecting the northern part of the Euphrates River in the south, to alleviate the suffering of people who move by boat, until the repair of the old bridge.

The idea of ​​building an alternative bridge to help the people in irrigation of planting them easily.

" In this regard, the Chairman of the Committee on Reconstruction in al-Raqqa Civil Council Abdullah al-Arian that they seek to provide services to the people with all their belongings, and continued We are trying to complete the repair of water and electricity networks, and we are also in the process of rehabilitating the drainage of irrigation channel".

Al-Arian added that their engineers had made an alternative bridge to place it on the Euphrates River and to connect the northern side to the south, adding that they were working on repairing the old bridge.

Al-Arian called on residents of al-Raqqa help them and cooperate with them in keeping the city clean. The committee removed the earthmounds from the city and removed the rubble now.

In the past, the Commission has completed many works, such as activating water plants to provide water for the people.

Where they did the drinking water stations that feed 422 thousand of al-Raqqa city and its rural areas: al-Zahra Station, al-Mansoura Station, Tel al-Saman, Abo Kabia, al-Baroda ,al-Howra –al-Wedyan –Ain Issa station  al-Safsafa, al-Maslakh al-Hamrat –al-Karama Abo-Wahal .

The Commission also did a well pump, which provides irrigation channels to the plants.

The committee repaired the bridges that are located on the irrigation channels such as (al Asadiya Bridge, al- Adnanieh Bridge, the al-Hokomiya Bridge, Shaneine Bridge, Wadi al- Faid, al-Abaraa, al- Sabahia and al- Salhabiyah Bridge.(
