Organizations' meeting ended by setting new work standards

The meeting was convened at the invitation of the office of Humanitarian Affairs and Organizations in Syria's Democratic Council (SDC), and the offices of organizations in the civil councils in some areas of North Syria, the forum of North Syrian Organizations and relief organizations to find solutions to the problems that the organizations may face or make.

The co-chair of the Development and Humanitarian Affairs Office Abdul Qer al-Mohed, representatives of al-Raqqa's Civil Councils, al-Tabqa, Deir ez-Zor, and Manbij and Humanitarian Affairs’ Organizations attended the meeting to find solutions to social problems and ways to avoid them.

The participants discussed the difficulties and social problems that may occur by the organizations during the distribution process and the mistakes they make by granting assistance to some poor families and depriving some others which creates social problems in the area.

 In addition to reviewing the criteria adopted by the organizations during distributions, and the need to communicate with the councils and communes in the targeted areas.

At the end of the meeting, the participants agreed on the need to find new standards for their work during the coming period and to coordinate in working with the offices of the organizations in the area where they would work in, as well as putting priorities to give assistance to the displaced and the poor families.

In an interview with Hawar New agency, the co-chair of the Development and Humanitarian Affairs’ Office of Syria's Council Abdul Qar al-Mohed said that some problems have been overcome, and solutions were found during the meeting in order to achieve social justice.
