AL-HASAKAH

The Workers Committee in al-Hasakah opened a center for the workers in al-Arisha area during a ceremony, and dozens of the district’s people and the administrators and members of Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) attended the ceremonies.

The opening ceremony began with holding a minute of silence, and it was followed by a speech delivered by the co-chair of Worker Union in al-Jazeera region Avin Basho, in which she noted that the workers are the basis of the development of society and the improvement of the living level in the area.

The co-chair of al-Arisha Hamoud al-Ali said in his turn, "The workers are those who build the homelands, and the prosperity and development of the country come thanks to the effort of the hard workers because they are the most effective in the society."

After that, 5 members of the people of the district were elected as administrators in the center of the Workers Committee in al-Arisha district in al-Hasakah canton.
