"Let’s make leader Ocelan's freedom a fundamental goal of our struggle"

She met with leader Ocelan when she was in her second decade, since then, she complied with the thought and philosophy of the leader she had learned during the training period she had received from Ocelan and later became a martyr on the freedom path. She said" We must make the freedom of leader Ocelan an essential goal in our struggle.

AL-HASAKAH-Haifa Mohammed is citizen of al-Hasakah city, at 45, she had met with the leader Ocelan when she was in her second decade, today she is the mother of a martyr. Judy is the first fighter who was martyred in resistance of al-Hasakah on 9 April, 2013.

Hawar news agency(ANHA) interviewed Haifa describing her feeling when she met the leader for the first time at" Masoum Qorkmaz Academy "in Lebanon "I did not have the courage to shake his hands though I was eager to do. This meeting left behind me a great impact on me so far".

And added "When my son Dalil was martyred, I said that Dalil was martyred for the sake of the people and approach that leader Ocelan gave us," she said. "Whatever we did, we owe the leader and his idea that otherwise we would not be able to live in our freedom and learn our language."

Ocalan's approach and philosophy are the foundation of women's struggle for freedom

Haifa noted that the struggle of Ocelan for the freedom of women is the secret of the development reached by Kurdish women, she added "The leader of Ocelan reads the reality of the society in a wonderful way, and said that the society cannot be liberated without the liberation of women, and it has set the foundations for us and the approach of freedom, and what we have reached through Revolution of Rojava and North Syria is by virtue of the struggle and guidance and approach of our great leader.”

Every word the leader pronounced was a training for me

Haifa said she felt the change in her character after she met Ocelan, she said every word that the leader uttered was a training for us, because of its depth, the importance of its meanings, and what prompted me to join the ranks of Rojava revolution, and the struggle for freedom and living in dignity came from my meeting with him, and his words which he said to us and which are still engraved in my heart. "

At the end of her speech, she called on martyrs's families and nationalists to continue to fight for the freedom of the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan, and concluded by saying: "To be worthy of our leader, his sacrifices and struggle for us, we must preserve the gains achieved thanks to the sacrifices made by the martyrs to us, Our struggle for the freedom of our leader. "
