Opening of al-Baladi Stadium in al-Raqqa

AL-RAQQA- The Municipal Committee for Youth and Sports opened al-Baladi stadium in al-Raqqa city during a ceremony and announced the launch of a league at the level of the Euphrates region, , where the first game was launched at the end of the ceremony.

During an opening ceremony, the Youth and Sports Committee opened al-Baladi stadium or what called the "black stadium" after being rehabilitated and cleaned of rubble and war debris.
The event was attended by dozens of residents of al-Raqqa, Manbij, Deir ez-Zor, al-Tabqa, the Internal Security Forces, members of al-Raqqa Civil Council, and the participating teams in the league, which will be named the martyr al-Khalif who was martyred while traveling with the Peace convoy.

The opening began with a minute of silence followed by a number of speeches, including a speech on behalf of the youth of al-Raqqa delivered by Ismail al-Huweish and the name of the Democratic Youth Council of Syria, delivered by Ahmed Hijo and the name of the Democratic Syria Council by Ilham Ahmed. The congratulations included the opening of the stadium and the start of the league in the city of al-Raqqa. The words referred to the active youth role in building an effective democratic society of thought. At the end, the two teams met to open the league. They were al-Raqqa team, which in the name of martyr Idris Mohammed and the team of martyr Zakaria from Deir ez-Zor.
