26 aid trucks to Afrin Afrin reach al-Shahba canton
26 truckloads of aid sent by the people of al-Jazeera region and Kurdistan Red Crescent reached the people of Afrin, located in al-Shahba canton of Afrin region.
AL-SHAHBA- The people of al-Jazeera region and Kurdistan Red Crescent have sent 26 trucks loaded with humanitarian aid to the people of Afrin who were forced to leave their homes as a result of the bombing of Turkish occupation and the massacres against them.
The aid included foodstuffs and other in-kind items. "The trucks arrived at the warehouses of al-Shahba canton administration and included humanitarian aid for the Afrin residents in the canton's areas," Hassan Mohammed, the aid depot secretary, said.
According to Mohammed, they will immediately distribute this aid to the people of Afrin because of the poor living conditions of Afrin residents who were forced to leave their homes because of the bombing of Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries to their areas.
It is noteworthy that the people of al-Jazeera have organized campaigns to raise funds and assistance to the people of Afrin and continues to cities and areas of the region, and this is the second installment of the assistance they send
