Working on preparing the draft of Kurdish political vision

The preparations for the Kurdish Unity Conference in Rojava, which have been ongoing since November of last year, have entered a new phase.

In the context of the activities in which about 40 parties, organizations, and individuals have participated so far, the preparatory committee met again on February 22nd.

The meeting, held away from the media's eyes, addressed the evaluation of recent work and efforts and set an agenda.

In the closed meeting with the media, the latest works were evaluated and the plan was set.

According to the information we received from a committee member and the Deputy Secretary-General of the Kurdish Democratic Union Party in Syria (Yekiti), Mustafa Mashaikh, progress has been made on the issue of a common political vision.

As a result of the discussions, it was decided to draft these common opinions into a single document, which will be presented to the parties that have not yet joined after the approval of all the parties and organizations involved in these efforts.

According to Mustafa, if no disagreements arise, the preparation for the conference will begin after the draft, and the draft will be discussed and its final form determined at this conference, followed by its announcement as a political stance.
