According to media reports, a 15-year-old girl was killed in the town of Western Ghariyah, east of Daraa, after being shot by her 14-year-old brother while he was mishandling a firearm at home.

Additionally, a 13-year-old boy from the village of Koya, west of Daraa, died due to an accidental gunshot. In the Qusour neighborhood of Daraa’s Mahatta area, a young man from the town of Naseeb was killed by gunmen at dawn while he was in the area.

Another person from the town of Ghabaghib, who had been living elsewhere for years, died after being shot in the abdomen, with no clear details about the circumstances of the incident. Armed disputes led to the deaths of five people, three of whom were in the city of Tafas, west of Daraa, including a father and his son, as well as another young man, due to an old feud. Clashes between tribes near the town of Atman, north of Daraa, resulted in the deaths of two young cousins from Bedouin tribes, as part of ongoing revenge operations.

Regarding injuries, media sources confirmed that three civilians (two young men and a girl) in the town of Yadouda, west of Daraa, were wounded by shrapnel from a hand grenade thrown by a local resident, who was later arrested.

A young man from Daraa al-Balad was seriously injured in an assassination attempt in the Sahari neighborhood of Daraa city and was transferred to Daraa National Hospital.

Since the fall of the Assad regime, Daraa province has witnessed incidents of this nature and ongoing security chaos due to the widespread availability of weapons among civilians.
