According to the *Times of Israel*, reserve soldiers from the 810th Mountain Regional Brigade, stationed at the summit of Mount Hermon, conducted raids last week on several "main headquarters" affiliated with the special forces of Bashar al-Assad’s regime.

The military reported that its forces found over 3 tons of weapons at these sites, including anti-tank mines, explosive devices, and rockets.

The Israeli army stated that its operations in the area aim to prevent the smuggling of weapons from Syria to Lebanon. Since the fall of the Assad regime, the Israeli military has been stationed at 9 locations in southern Syria, most of which are within a demilitarized buffer zone monitored by the United Nations along the border between the two countries.
