They focused on the fact that developing the industrial sector is the fundamental pillar for developing the overall economic sector in the NE Syria region.
At the end of the meeting, they agreed on setting future plans to work on, including unifying the mechanisms for granting industrial licenses to industrial establishments, unifying fees, and facilitating licensing procedures; drafting internal regulations for the Industry Committee at the regional level; working on establishing industrial cities in coordination with relevant authorities; drafting a regional law to ensure joint work between the Industry Committee in NE Syria and the district committees; facilitating the collection of statistics and data to form a database for the industrial sector at the regional level; establishing a unified mechanism for quarry operations in the cantons; and finally, setting standards for the distribution of fuel materials for the industrial sector.
