The SDF's media center explained that the Turkish occupation, under the cover of secrecy, is establishing new bases on Syrian territory.

The statement pointed out that despite international efforts to establish a ceasefire across all Syrian territories, the Turkish occupation continues to escalate its attacks on areas in North and East Syria. At the same time, it seeks to expand and build new military bases in Syria, taking advantage of the power vacuum and weakness of the authorities in Damascus.

The media center stated: "In the areas south and east of Manbij and around Kobani, the Turkish occupation army is secretly transferring military equipment and supplies at night to build new bases in Qereqozaqê Hill, as well as on the western bank of the Euphrates River and in the village of Hassan Agha southeast of Manbij."

The statement explained: "As usual, despite the existence of previous Turkish occupation bases, estimated at more than 200 bases and military points, housing tens of thousands of soldiers, intelligence equipment, advanced radars, modern tanks, as well as surveillance and eavesdropping devices, the Turkish occupation continues to follow secret methods in building new occupation bases and avoids raising Turkish flags and banners on those bases."

The statement confirmed: "Drone-captured images show the newly built Turkish occupation bases in a wide geographical area, where the construction of watchtowers, tank and artillery fortifications, and soldier barracks is underway. The images confirm that construction is still ongoing at some sites, while other bases appear to be fully completed."

The statement also noted that the Turkish occupation state is using these bases to occupy Syrian territories and launch attacks on North and East Syria. It aims to expand its reach into new areas, penetrating deeper into Syrian territory to establish a long-term military occupation infrastructure in Syria.
