Today, the lawyers from the Al-Asr Human Rights Office, Suzan Akipa, Ibrahim Bilmez, Imran Emekçi, and Cengiz Yurekli, submitted a new request to the Public Prosecutor's Office in the Turkish city of Bursa and the Directorate of Imrali Prison to meet with their clients: leader Abdullah Ocalan, Omar Khairi Kunar, Hamili Yildirim, and Veysi Aktaş, who have been subjected to a system of torture and extermination imposed by Turkey for more than three years.

The lawyers from the Al-Asr Human Rights Office submit two requests every week to the Public Prosecutor's Office in Bursa and the Directorate of Imrali Prison to meet with their clients, without receiving any response to their requests.

The system of torture and extermination in Imrali continues, and leader Abdullah Ocalan is still denied his rights even as a detainee.
