Turkish occupation airstrikes on Dohuk countryside in S. Kurdistan

The Turkish occupation army helicopter bombed the hills and surroundings of a village in Dohuk Governorate with heavy weapons, amid continued attacks with the participation of the KDP's forces on various areas of Southern Kurdistan by air and land.

Roj News Agency reported a short while ago that the heights and surroundings of the village of Kohrza, affiliated with the Amediya district in Dohuk Governorate, were bombed by helicopters of the Turkish occupation army.

The agency published, along with the urgent news, video footage showing the targeted area, the sound of the helicopter, and the weapons used in the bombing.

Yesterday, the agency published a report in which it indicated that the Turkish occupation army had begun constructing a road to reach the areas surrounding the village of "Kohrza" in Dohuk Governorate, by using huge military bulldozers, to expand the scope of its incursion and launch its attacks with the participation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party forces.

The report also stated that the Turkish occupation intends to use the road to facilitate the construction of a new military base in the region, and quoted civilian sources as saying that military reinforcements are expected to arrive in the region in the near future.
