Turkish military reinforcements in S. Kurdistan to expand occupation

 The Turkish occupation army continues its attacks on Southern Kurdistan, with the participation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party forces.

 The agency's report indicated that the Turkish occupation army has begun building a road that reaches the areas surrounding the village of "Kohrazy" in Dohuk Governorate, using huge military bulldozers.

 The report also stated that the Turkish occupation intends to use the road to facilitate the construction of a new military base in the region, and quoted local sources as saying that military reinforcements are expected to arrive in the region in the near future.

 The attacks and the continued penetration of the Turkish occupation into the region raise concerns and resentment among the local population, in addition to many Iraqi political circles.

 The report confirmed that despite all these new movements, no official response has been issued by the Iraqi government, in light of the continued participation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party forces in the Turkish occupation.

 It noted that the ongoing military movements of the Turkish occupation are a continuation of Ankara's policy of interfering in the affairs of neighboring countries and occupying more territories in Southern Kurdistan and Iraq.

 The agency attached its report with video footage showing bulldozers paving the road in the mountainous terrain.
