Tribal sheikhs: We will not stand idly by and will defend our land

Ali Al-Tayyi, a notable and sheikh of the Tayyi clan in Raqqa, confirmed: “We are sheikhs and tribal notables in Raqqa. We stand united in the face of these attacks. We will not stand idly by and will defend our land.”

Ali Al-Yayyi explained: “We Syrians will not accept any foreign aggression on our land, and we are all united against these attacks.”

In his turn, the notable of the Al-Ali clan, Sheikh Ramadan Al-Rahhal, said: “When Erdogan saw the solidarity of the people of North and East Syria, he began launching attacks on civilians and infrastructure, and he did not stop at that, but bombed hospitals in the city of Kobani. These criminal acts were planned and systematic, and he wanted them to tell us that ISIS/ Daesh exists and it is the alternative, and I am ready to introduce ISIS into your areas.”

Ramadan Al-Rahhal confirmed: “Erdogan wants to revive ISIS again, as he previously planned, and he brought ISIS into the region by opening airports and facilitating their entry into our regions.”

Al-Rahhal noted: “International powers, international and human rights organizations, and all free people in the world must stand with us and support our just cause and live in peace.”
