The statement emphasized that displaying the bodies of female fighters, burning them, cutting their hair, and sharing images on social media forms part of a psychological warfare strategy aimed at spreading fear and “terror,” while international media ignore these violations. This neglect opens the door to escalating systematic violence against women and fuels ISIS ideology.

The statement specifically criticized the German magazine Der Spiegel, accusing it of adopting a “dirty and unethical” policy against the Kurdish people and the Autonomous Administration since January 6, by publishing discourse that criminalizes Kurds instead of exposing ISIS ideology and its brutal violations.

The movement stressed that “the will of Kurdish women will not be broken,” calling on women worldwide to express their legitimate discontent with anti-women rhetoric and to take democratic action against what it described as misleading media campaigns.
