Three journalists were killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted their car in southern Lebanon, prompting official condemnation and denouncing it as a violation of international humanitarian law.

Three journalists, including Al-Manar TV correspondent Ali Shuaib, Al-Mayadeen TV correspondent Fatima Fatouni, and cameraman Mohammed Fatouni, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on their car today.

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun condemned the airstrike that killed the journalists.

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam stated that targeting journalists is a "flagrant violation of international humanitarian law."
