Syriac delegations, Syrian National Party visit governor of Hasakah to congratulate him

A delegation from the Syriac institutions and a delegation from the Syrian National Party visited the governor of Hasakah, Nour al-Din Ahmed, Monday,  in his office in the province, to congratulate him on assuming his official duties and to discuss ways to enhance cooperation among all components in the province.

The Syriac delegation included representatives from several institutions, including the co-chairs of the Syriac Union Party, Sanharib Barsuom and Shamiram Danho, Efram Ishaq, the party's relations officer, Georgeet Barsuom, the head of the Syriac Women's Union, Stella Murad, a member of the Women's Union administration, Ibrahim Edmo, the head of the Syriac Cultural Association, and Sobhi Melki, the co-chair of the Progressive Syriac Youth Union.

As for the delegation of the Syrian National Party, it was headed by the Secretary-General Thabet Al-Jawhar, and included the official spokesperson Mohamed Darwish, who delivered a speech congratulating the governor, praising the efforts made to uplift Hasakah, and affirming the party's support for all initiatives aimed at improving the service and social reality, maintaining civil peace among all components, and rejecting all forms of sedition and incitement.

During the meetings, the importance of enhancing communication between institutions and bodies was emphasized, as well as coordinating efforts to achieve security and stability and develop public services in a way that reflects the spirit of mutual cooperation and elevates the reality of the region. Additionally, support was given to the governorate's initiatives aimed at improving the standard of living and ensuring the rights of all citizens without discrimination or exclusion.

For his part, the governor of Hasakah, Nour al-Din Ahmed, praised these visits, affirming his commitment to making every possible effort to develop the province and create real bridges between its components. He also commended the role of politicians, intellectuals, and tribes in preserving the social fabric and enhancing cooperation among the various components.

Prior to these visits, the Women's Protection Units visited the governor's office, along with delegations from other Kurdish and Arab tribes.
