Sulaymaniyah to host forum on “Kurdistan Geopolitics and Women’s Status”

A forum titled "The Geopolitics of Kurdistan and the Status of Women" will be held tomorrow in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, with the participation of a number of political and women’s figures. The organizing bodies have also invited activists and those interested in issues of freedom and women’s rights to take part in the event.

Sulaymaniyah Governorate in Southern Kurdistan will host the forum tomorrow at 3:00 PM at Salem Cinema, organized through an initiative by the Repak and Azadbûn organizations.

The forum is expected to feature political and women’s figures, including Zeinab Murad, co-chair of the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK); Nesrin Sini, member of the KNK; Ilham Ahmed, co-chair of the Foreign Relations Department of the Autonomous Administration; Ayla Akat Ata, activist in the Free Women’s Movement (TJA); a former member of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP); as well as Dr. Kasha Dara Hafiz, head of the Azadbûn organization.

The forum aims to discuss issues related to the geopolitics of Kurdistan and the status of women, with the participation of political figures, activists, and individuals interested in public affairs.

The organizing groups, Repak and Azadbûn, invited activists, intellectuals, and people interested in women’s issues and Kurdistan affairs to attend and participate in the forum’s activities.
