The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the discovery of four mass graves containing the remains of 14 people since the beginning of April, reflecting a worrying escalation in the pace of these discoveries.

These developments reopen one of the most complex issues in the country, where identifying victims faces significant challenges due to the lack of accurate databases, limited technical capabilities, and legal and security complexities that hinder access to other potential sites.

According to the Observatory's report, the details of these mass graves are as follows:

- One mass grave in Deir ez-Zor, containing the remains of 10 people.

-1 mass grave in Daraa, containing two bodies.

-1 mass grave in Hama, containing two bodies.
