Social Democratic Alliance Conference in Arab World continues its work

The Social Democratic Alliance in the Arab World continues its activities today, Saturday, in the city of Sulaymaniyah in Southern Kurdistan, with the participation of a group of Kurdish, Iraqi, international, and Arab political figures.

During the conference, a series of seminars and discussions were held, followed by the presentation of the final report. The President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Bafel Jalal Talabani, and the conference president, Farid Zahran, are scheduled to deliver the closing speechs

The conference attended by Politburo member Jiwan Ihsan from the PUK, along with Kirkuk Governor Rebwar Taha. A delegation from the North and East Syria region also participated, including the co-chair of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), Gharib Hasso; members of the party's presidential body, Fawza Yousef and Salih Muslim; and party spokesperson Sama Bakdash. The delegation will also include the head of the Relations Committee of the Kongra Star, Amina Osy and Hikmat al-Habib, a member of the Foreign Relations Department of the Democratic Autonomous Administration.

A delegation from the Peoples' Democratic Party from Northern Kurdistan also participated, along with representatives and dignitaries from 21 countries around the world.

The conference began on August 27 and will continue for four days. The first day was dedicated to discussing women's issues, while subsequent sessions addressed topics related to "security, peace, social and political challenges in the Arab region."
