Sisi: No one can stop Iran war except Trump

 Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi urged U.S. President Donald Trump today to stop the war in the region, warning that concerns about oil prices exceeding $200 per barrel are not exaggerated.

Speaking at the opening of the Egypt International Energy Conference and Exhibition (Egyps), Sisi said to Trump:
"No one can stop the war in our region, in the Gulf, except you."

He added:
"Please, Mr. President, please help us stop the war you are capable of doing so."

Sisi noted that the consequences of the war include two shocks: energy supply shortages and the negative impact on rising prices.

He further stated that targeting energy facilities, whether production plants or refineries could have extremely serious repercussions on the global economy and fuel prices, pointing out that analysts’ fears of oil surpassing $200 per barrel are not exaggerated.

Sisi also warned of an imminent global food supply crisis, noting that a shortage of fertilizers due to Middle East disruptions could threaten food security.

He added that while rich countries may be able to absorb this impact, for middle-income countries and fragile economies, the consequences could be extremely serious for their stability.
