Scattered security incidents claim lives of 7 people in Syria

Security incidents across Syria have resulted in seven deaths—including a woman and her two children—as well as multiple injuries and a reported disappearance. Attacks targeting individuals and property were also documented by ANHA agency.

In Hama Governorate, a new disappearance was recorded involving Ali Suleiman Ibrahim—known as "Ali Al-Khayyat"—a resident of Deir Shumayl village in the Masyaf countryside. He went missing after leaving his home at dawn yesterday, heading to the city of Hama, where he works at Hama University.

His family reported that he never arrived at work and his mobile phone remains switched off; they have appealed to anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact them.

In Homs Governorate, a woman and her two children were killed by gunfire from gunmen on a motorcycle while sitting on the balcony of their home in the Al-Sabil neighborhood. The victims were identified as Amna Muhammad Qa'ir (39), Lujain Khansa (16), and Issa Khansa (9).

The attackers fled the scene immediately after the shooting, and authorities have not yet issued any statements regarding the circumstances of the incident or the identities of the perpetrators.

Meanwhile, in the southern countryside of Idlib, a member of the Internal Security Forces was killed after being shot by unidentified gunmen on the road connecting Khan Shaykhun and the Tabish junction.

In the countryside of Damascus, a young man from the city of Al-Tal died while in custody at a prison run by the Interim Government in the city of Jaramana. He had been detained just days prior, and no further details regarding the circumstances of his death have been released. In the northern countryside of Aleppo, a Syrian Civil Defense volunteer was killed by the explosion of a remnant of war—specifically a landmine—located between the towns of Ratyan and Bayanoun.

Meanwhile, the body of a young man was discovered inside an abandoned well in the town of Al-Mansoura, in the Raqqa countryside, approximately three weeks after he had gone missing.

In the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, unidentified individuals threw a grenade at a car dealership in the city of Dhiban, causing material damage but resulting in no casualties.

Additionally, in the eastern countryside of Daraa, a young man was wounded by gunfire during an altercation in the city of Al-Hirak; the shooter subsequently fled the scene.
