Saudi Arabia strongly condemned the targeting of presidential residences in Hawler, stressing its rejection of all attempts that threaten the security and stability of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.

In a statement, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the targeting of the residences of Kurdistan Region President and , as well as all attacks aimed at the region.

The Kingdom underscored its “rejection of everything that threatens Iraq’s security and stability,” affirming its solidarity with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region and its support for their security and stability.

Earlier, air defenses intercepted drones near the residences of Nechirvan and Masoud Barzani in Hawler, causing material damage but no casualties.

These attacks have sparked widespread Arab and international condemnation, with officials stressing that such acts are attempts to drag Iraq and the Kurdistan Region into ongoing conflicts.
