Public activities in NE Syria denouncing First Paris Massacre

 On the 11th anniversary of the first Paris massacre, in which the three female revolutionaries Sakine Cansız (Sara), Fîdan Doğan (Rojbîn) and Leyla Şaylemez (Ronahî) were assassinated by agents of the Turkish occupation state on January 9, 2013, a series of events begins today:

The events organized by Kongra Star are as follows:

* Hilal Zerin Movement for Women’s Culture in North and East Syria makes a statement today in the Euphrates Province. (January 7).

* Kongra Star is organizing a lecture on the life of the martyr Sakine Cansız, today at its center in the village of Al-Zahriyeh in the city of Derik at 02:00 pm.

* The Women’s Council of the Martyrs’ Families Council makes a statement to public opinion, on (January 8).

* The Environment Committee of Kongra Star makes a statement to public opinion, on (January 8).

* On the day of the massacre, Kongra Star holds various events at the provincial level at 11:00.

* Members of the institutions of the city of Derik will go to the shrine of the martyr Khabat to make a statement about the memorial of the martyr Sakine and her two companions, at 12:00.

* Holding a dialogue forum about targeting women leaders and leader Abdullah Ocalan on (January 17) in the city of Qamishlo.

* Holding extensive meetings and showing a film about the struggle of revolutionary Sakine Cansız.
