The party stated that the disregard shown by the "National Dialogue Conference" committee for the diverse political, social, and sectarian dimensions of Syrian society, particularly the Kurdish political movement, constitutes "clear exclusion and a violation of the principles of national partnership and pluralism," which should be the foundation of any genuine dialogue process.

In a statement issued today, the party noted that it had been following the conference's proceedings, which took place in Damascus over the past two days (February 24–25). It pointed out the short timeframe between the announcement and the organization of the conference, as well as the fact that invitations were issued in a personal and individual manner.

The statement further explained that "excluding any fundamental component of society reflects an undemocratic approach and empties the dialogue of its substance," turning it into a mere formality that does not contribute to building a stable state or fostering coexistence.

The Kurdish Progressive Democratic Party in Syria reaffirmed in its statement that any "national dialogue process" must be inclusive of all sects and components and must be based on the principles of justice and equality to ensure fair and sustainable outcomes.

The statement also stressed that marginalizing the Kurdish component by sidelining the Kurdish political movement, which is an integral part of the nation's fabric, constitutes a disregard for its rights and historical contributions to building the country.

The party called on the international community to oversee and provide guarantees to immediately rectify this "flaw" and ensure fair representation for all components to prevent further division and a deepening of the national crisis.

Additionally, the statement urged all political and civil forces to reject these exclusionary policies and uphold the principles of serious and responsible dialogue among the true representatives of Syrian society, based on mutual respect and common understanding.
