According to local media sources, three people were killed and four others injured today when a shell from war remnants exploded near the health center of the town of Tseel in western Daraa countryside.

The sources reported that all the victims were between the ages of 15 and 20, adding that the shell exploded while the children were tampering with it as they played near the health center in Tseel.

This incident is part of a series of accidents caused by war remnants. Last month, a massive explosion occurred in a hardware store in the Al-Raml Al-Janoubi neighborhood in the city of Latakia, during an attempt by the shop owners to dismantle an unexploded war device in an unsafe manner, leading to the complete destruction of the building.

War remnants continue to pose an increasing threat to the lives of Syrians following the fall of the Ba'athist regime and the return of residents to their areas.
