The Council of Notables in Hasakah, located in Jazira Canton, inaugurated its new headquarters today at the intersection of Station Street. The ceremony was attended by Kurdish and Arab tribal sheikhs and elders, alongside politicians and intellectuals from various communities.

During the opening ceremony, participants stressed the important role played by the Council of Notables in strengthening the spirit of brotherhood among the components of the region and fostering dialogue between its people, contributing to civil peace and stability.

Tribal leaders and attendees also expressed their support for the council in its future endeavors, affirming that the new headquarters will serve as a launching point for more activities and meetings that benefit all the people of Hasakah.

The Council of Notables serves as an inclusive platform for tribal sheikhs, elders, and social and political figures, through which it seeks to strengthen community cohesion and support shared national causes.
