New country involved in Afrin's demographic change

 Within the demographic change policies against the occupied city of Afrin, with the support of the MTI and participation of several Gulf countries, most notably; Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, the latter worked to start a project to bring 1,330 people from the families of the mercenaries to settle them in the occupied city of Afrin.

 According to the Afrin-Syria Human Rights Organization, the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has agreed to start a joint management program with one of the organizations affiliated with the Turkish occupation to establish settlements consisting of about 300 housing units under the pretext of "Supporting those affected by the February 2023 earthquake."

 The project includes random camps specifically in the "Al-Barakah", "Muslim" and "Aya" in the occupied city of Jandaris.

 According to the Saudi center, about 300 families of the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation army will benefit from the agreement, including 1,330 people.

 The organization stated that step would consolidate the mercenaries' retention of the lands and properties of the displaced people of Afrin, by changing the status of their housing from temporary to permanent, within the policies of comprehensive demographic change.

 Article (49) of the Fourth Geneva Convention prohibits the mass forcible transfer, as well as the deportation of protected persons from occupied territory to the territory of the occupying power, or to the territory of any other occupied or non-occupied country.

 The Human Rights Organization of Afrin - Syria, indicated that "the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia come under humanitarian names, according to its claim, to build housing units to settle Arabs and Turkmen who were brought from various conflict areas in Syria, but in reality they contribute to completing the systematic demographic change in the countryside of Afrin.

 The number of settlements, according to the latest statistics of the Human Rights Organization, has reached about 43 settlements in the city of Afrin, after its occupation on March 18, 2018 and until now, at the expense of the indigenous Kurdish population who were forcibly displaced by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries.

 It is noteworthy that on February 6, 2023, a devastating earthquake struck southern Turkey and northern Syria, followed by another earthquake measuring 7.7 degrees and several other aftershocks, which killed more than 59,000 people, injured more than 120,000 people, and displaced millions, according to official statistics.
