Jordan hands over 5 Syrian citizens to Damascus government authorities

The Jordanian authorities handed over 5 Syrian citizens to Damascus government authorities on the Syrian-Jordanian border, one of whom was injured by the fire of the former forces.

The Jordanian authorities handed over two Syrian citizens from the village of Maaraba in the Yarmouk Basin area in the western countryside of Daraa to the security services affiliated with the Damascus government.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), the handover took place after the forces had targeted them while they were working to collect firewood on the Syrian-Jordanian border, and arrested them about 10 days ago.

The Jordanian authorities handed over the injured person, who was transferred to a hospital for treatment, while the other remained in the custody of the security services affiliated with the Damascus government.

The same party handed over 3 other young men from the town of Jleen in the same countryside to the military intelligence, which in turn handed them over to the “Central Committee”, as the Jordanian army forces had arrested them a few days ago on the Syrian-Jordanian border.
