Meeting in Hasaka discusses humanitarian situation; Alouk station

A meeting that brought together the governor of Hasaka and a delegation from the United Nations, humanitarian organizations, and the directorates of water, social affairs and labor, and the Syrian and Kurdish Arab Red Crescent, focused on discussing the humanitarian situation, the conditions of the camps, ways to support the return of the displaced, and the need to reactivate the Alouk water station and provide urgent aid to those affected.

HASAKA

An expanded meeting was held in Hasaka, bringing together a delegation from the United Nations and several humanitarian organizations, along with representatives from the directorates of water, social affairs, labor, and education, as well as representatives from the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and the Kurdish Red Crescent. The meeting, which was also attended by the governor of Hasaka, addressed a range of service and humanitarian issues in the governorate.

The meeting followed the governor Nour Eddin Ahmed reception of the humanitarian representatives and organizations.

The meeting discussed the overall humanitarian situation in the region, the conditions in areas affected by the recent floods, the situation in refugee camps and ways to support the return of displaced persons, as well as the status of the Alouk water station, exploring possible solutions for its reactivation.

The governor Nour Eddin Ahmed stressed the need for concerted efforts among all parties to meet basic needs, emphasizing the importance of restarting the Alouk water station and providing relief aid to those affected by the recent floods.
