Medical conference for physical freedom of Leader Ocalan

The medical conference, held under the slogan “Health is the foundation of revival and liberation,” was launched with broad participation from medical unions in North and East Syria, alongside doctors, pharmacists, medical technicians, representatives of medical institutions, the Autonomous Administration, and the Democratic Society Movement.

The conference aims to highlight the importance of health as a core pillar in social issues by discussing Leader Abdullah Ocalan’s intellectual perspectives on physical freedom and mental health. It also seeks to study the impact of ongoing conflicts and violence on the health situation, while drawing attention to Leader Ocalan’s health condition and his medical and human rights.

The conference will review Leader Ocalan’s recommendations regarding physical freedom and community health as part of a broader project of liberation, discuss his current health status, and stress the need to guarantee his medical and humanitarian rights in accordance with international standards.

It will also shed light on the impact of wars and ongoing conflicts on the physical and mental health of populations, particularly in conflict-affected areas, as well as the challenges facing medical institutions amid political and security crises. The discussions will further explore Leader Ocalan’s ideas on mental health as a fundamental basis for building a balanced and liberated society.

The participating medical unions affirmed that the conference seeks to build a common vision linking health and liberation, as attention to public and mental health forms the basis for the rise and freedom of societies.

The conference is expected to conclude with a number of recommendations and practical proposals.
