Media Department calls to participat in hashtag campaign

Today, the Media Department of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria issued a written statement in which it announced the launch of a hashtag campaign on Saturday, January 25, at 8:00 pm Syria time; In support of NE  Syria, it stated:

“At a time when Syria in general, and NE Syria in particular, is going through a pivotal and historic stage in the midst of the revolution that our people are waging for the sake of a unified democratic Syria and to live in dignity and freedom, the attacks of the war machine represented by the Turkish occupation state on the region of NE Syria continue.

While the fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) bravely defend the revolution and its gains, the people continue their struggle against martyrdom and to protect these gains, and the resistance of the Tishreen Dam is only one of the episodes of that resistance being waged in NE  Syria.

The people of NE Syria, with all its components, sects, and segments, fought the global terrorism represented by ISIS on behalf of the entire world, and through the sacrifice of more than 14,000 martyrs and 50,000 wounded, they were able to geographically liberate Syrian lands from ISIS. They also established their Autonomous-administration consisting of all the components of the people, which has made NE Syria today the safest and most stable region in Syria.

In light of these rapid developments in Syria, we must unite and harness all our forces in order to preserve our presence and our gains. From this standpoint, the demand for recognition of the rights of the peoples of NE Syria is one of the most important priorities that must be worked on, especially in the context of shaping the features of new Syria

In this context, demanding recognition of the rights of the peoples of NE Syria is one of the most important tasks that we must strive to achieve, and on this occasion, and on the occasion of the anniversary of the Kobani victory, on Saturday, January 25, at exactly 8:00 pm Syria time, a hashtag campaign will be launched In support of NE Syria.

Accordingly, we call on our in NE Syria, the Kurdistanis, and the democratic peoples of the world who support the freedom of peoples, to actively participate in this campaign, to deliver our message to the world that we seek to live in freedom, dignity, and democracy.”
