The cities of Tal Tamr, Al-Darbasiyah, and Al-Shaddadi witnessed massive protests organized by thousands of teachers, rejecting the Turkish occupation’s attacks and supporting the SDF. The demonstrators chanted slogans such as "Long live the resistance of the SDF" and "Long live the resistance of Tishrin Dam," while raising SDF flags, pictures of martyrs, and banners reading "No to Turkish aggression."

Tal Tamr

Hundreds of residents, teachers, and students of Tal Tamr took part in a demonstration that started in front of the Council of Martyrs’ Families building. The protest marched through the main streets and culminated in a mass gathering at Qandil Roundabout. During the gathering, Khidr Al-Alawi, an administrator at the Tal Tamr Educational Complex, delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of supporting the SDF.

He stated, "As teachers, we have always been a guiding light for generations. We proudly stand by our forces, who defend our dignity and land."

Al-Alawi also stressed the unity of all communities in North and East Syria and called for collective support for the SDF against the Turkish occupation.

Al-Darbasiyah

In Al-Darbasiyah, hundreds of teachers, students, and members of various institutions and political parties participated in a protest march from Women's Roundabout to Gardinia Roundabout. Upon arrival, a statement on behalf of the city's teachers was read by Zuzan Arbo, a member of the school administration.

The statement strongly condemned the Turkish occupation’s attacks on civilians at Tishrin Dam, denouncing the direct targeting of civilians as a war crime. It emphasized that Turkey opposes the Kurdish people and all communities of North and East Syria, along with their democratic revolution, which has become a model in the region.

The statement also criticized the silence of the international community and human rights organizations, stating that such silence encourages Turkey to commit further massacres against the region’s people.

Furthermore, the statement highlighted the SDF’s heroic resistance against Turkish aggression and affirmed that these attacks would not break the will of the forces and the people, who stand together in a unified front.

The statement concluded by reaffirming the teachers' unwavering support for the SDF in resisting Turkish occupation attacks.

Al-Shaddadi

In Al-Shaddadi, the Educational Complex organized a massive demonstration that included teachers from the city and the districts of Markada and Dashisha, along with representatives from civil institutions and political parties.

The march began in front of the Revolutionary Youth Center and moved toward the Leader’s Park, where it turned into a protest gathering. Ali Al-Jarad, a teacher and representative of the Teachers’ Union, delivered a speech emphasizing the teachers’ support for the SDF.

He also called for an end to wars and sectarian conflicts, stating, "Syria belongs to the Syrians, and they alone will determine their country's future and rebuild it, free from occupation."

The demonstrations in all three cities concluded with chants and slogans in support of the SDF, as participants reaffirmed their commitment to standing by the forces in defending the region and resisting Turkish occupation attacks.
