March  in Tabqa to support SDF launched

In a spirit of solidarity, the people of Tabqa province and the displaced people of Afrin and al-Shahba organized a massive march on Monday in support of the Syrian Democratic Forces, at a time when Syria is facing numerous political and military challenges.

Hundreds of residents of the province, along with the displaced people of Afrin and al-Shahba, gathered in the First Neighborhood of Tabqa city. Representatives of the Democratic Autonomous Administration and its affiliated institutions and councils, women's and youth movements, in addition to the military and security forces of Tabqa province were also present.

The participants in the march kicked off, chanting slogans such as "Long Live The Syrian Democratic Forces' Resistance" and "We Are All SDF." They also held up banners with "We Support SDF, We Are all SDF, SDF Is Our Dignity" written on, and carried SDF's flags.

The participants continued their march towards Maysaloun Roundabout in the Second Neighborhood, where they stood a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs. Then, Mahmoud al-Sayel, the co-chair of the Martyrs' Families Council in Tabqa province, delivered a speech in which he said, "Based on our firm belief in the right of peoples to defend their existence and dignity, and in appreciation of the great sacrifices made by the Syrian Democratic Forces to protect the land and honor, we address them today on behalf of the people of Tabqa, al-Shahba, Afrin, and the martyrs' families with the highest expressions of solidarity and reverence."

Mahmoud al-Sayel emphasized, "The Syrian Democratic Forces have proven in various arenas that they are a national democratic force that carries a comprehensive project based on freedom, equality, justice, and the protection of society with all its components."

He continued, "The heroism of its both male and female fighters and the great sacrifices they have made constitute a bright page in the history of modern Syria and a true expression of the will of a people striving for a more free and dignified future."

Al-Sayel also emphasized that "All words of solidarity and reverence fall short to the magnitude of the sacrifices they have made. They have proven to the entire world that the will of the people is unbreakable, and that courage is not a slogan raised, but a stance lived with blood. Some of them walked the path of victory, and some lost their lives along the way, confirming to the world that the blood of our martyrs will remain a beacon illuminating the paths of freedom and the ink with which stories of sacrifice are written."

He emphasized, "We stand with you today in solidarity and respect for your steadfastness. We bless your heroism, and we affirm that you are not alone in this arduous march. The Syrian Democratic Forces are not just a military force, but an intellectual force, a people's community and will. They represent a new era intended to be built on the foundations of justice and equality, an era of resistance and steadfastness."

Riyad al-Wali, the co-chair of the Interior Authority of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Tabqa province, also expressed the solidarity of Tabqa people with the Syrian Democratic Forces, noting that Tabqa is a city of peace and that these forces are composed of the region's people who strive to build a better future.
