Large-scale Israeli incursion into Quneitra countryside

 An Israeli force, comprising approximately 30 military vehicles, entered the village of Umm Batna in the central Quneitra countryside after midnight between Saturday and Sunday, marking one of the largest incursions into the area in recent times.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the force deployed throughout several neighborhoods of the village before setting up a temporary checkpoint on the road connecting Umm Batna to the town of Jaba, restricting the movement of civilians and vehicles for several hours.

During the operation, Israeli forces interrogated a civilian and simultaneously searched an abandoned military barracks on the outskirts of the village, creating a tense atmosphere among the residents.

The force later withdrew to the Adnaniyah base after completing its search and reconnaissance operations, without any reported clashes or casualties.

This incursion is part of a series of repeated operations conducted by Israeli forces in southern Syria, including raids and searches of former military sites.
