Today, in London, members of the Kurdish community organized a protest in front of the U.S. Embassy to express their rejection of what they called the “international disregard for the suffering of the Kurdish people in Syria.” They demanded clearer positions from Washington over the violations, crimes, and attacks faced by Kurds in Rojava by Turkish-backed Free Syrian Army mercenaries.

Protesters carried banners calling for the protection of Kurdish rights and ensuring their participation in any political process concerning Syria’s future.

They condemned the international silence over the events and emphasized that their actions will continue until justice is achieved and their legitimate rights are recognized.
