The Kurdish national figure, Gule Sayed Remo, passed away on Thursday, departing the arena of North-East Syria Revolution, after a long record of struggle.

The Kurdish national figure, Gule Sayed Remo, passed away on Thursday, at the age of 70, after suffering from "Parkinson's disease."

Her body was laid to rest on Thursday, and her family is receiving condolences at Zein al-Abidin Mosque in Derik city of Jazira canton.

Gule Sayed Remo hails from Derik city in North-East Syria and is the mother of the two strugglers Zozan and Amina Osi, the spokesperson for the Women's Foreign Relations Committee in North and East Syria.

Gule Sayed Yousef Ramadan spent her life struggling, opened the doors of her home and heart to embrace and support the activists of the Kurdistan Liberation Movement. Furthermore, with the outbreak of the July 19th Revolution, she was among the first to engage in women's and popular activities, advancing their ranks.
