K.Star congratulates on leader's birthday; founding of YPJ

On the occasion of the birthday of leader Abdullah Ocalan, the K. Star issued a statement today, Thursday, in which it said, "As the comrades of leader Abdullah Ocalan in Rojava, we extend our warmest congratulations and sincerest feelings to our leader, and we wish him a happy birthday. We also congratulate all freedom fighters in Kurdistan, the fighters throughout Kurdistan, our people in all of Kurdistan, and the friends who have rallied around the thoughts of leader Abdullah Ocalan."

On the occasion of the birthday of leader Abdullah Ocalan, the K.Star issued a statement today, Thursday, which included: "As the comrades of leader Abdullah Ocalan in Rojava, we extend our warmest congratulations and sincerest feelings to our leader, and we wish him a happy birthday. We also extend our congratulations to all freedom fighters in Kurdistan, the fighters throughout Kurdistan, our people across Kurdistan, and the friends who have gathered around the thoughts of leader Abdullah Ocalan."

The statement emphasized that "the birth of leader Abdullah Ocalan, which falls on April 4th, is a highly significant occasion in the context of freedom. In April, the most beautiful sun rises over the world, and this month brings beauty, colors, and hope. In it, the earth breathes anew, and nature awakens in its own language, marking a new birth of will and a quest for freedom and memory. Therefore, this day represents the birth of the idea of freedom for oppressed peoples, the embodiment of the existence of the Kurdish people, and the meaning of women's will. On April 4th, our leadership was established, a day for a people left nameless. We dedicate this day to all those whose hearts yearn for freedom, to women striving for a dignified life, and to everyone dreaming of a just world."

The statement indicated that April 4th is the day when truth finds its meaning in body, thought, and path. It added: "The birthday of leader Abdullah Ocalan is not just the birth of an individual, but an expression of a dawn that reconsiders many matters and reshapes the will of women. In this dawn, women do not only recognize their existence, but also build their will, protect their lives, and create their reality. From here, the philosophy of 'Women, Life, Freedom' emerges from being just a slogan to becoming a new definition of existence, and women become creators of a dignified life. The will born from this awareness did not only protect the souls of the Kurdish people in the darkness of time, but also established a line for protecting human values. This strength was embodied in the Women's Protection Units (YPJ)."

The statement clarified that "on the fourth of April, the anniversary of the founding of the Women's Protection Units, these units have clearly secured their place in the history of humanity. On this blessed day, the anniversary of the birth of leader Abdullah Ocalan, on which the Women's Protection Units were established, we extend our warmest congratulations to leader Abdullah Ocalan and all the people of Rojava, Kurdistan. We remember with great pride the martyrs of the Women's Protection Units, especially the martyr Slava, the first martyr of these units."

He pointed out that "the Women's Protection Units emerged in this context as one of the most important symbols defending humanity, as their demands were based on protecting their people, and at the same time on building a dignified and equal life, which was achieved thru great sacrifices. However, it is unfortunate that today we witness a disregard for the souls that were protected by those sacrifices, and for the thousands of martyrs who gave their lives for these values, by the jihadists."

The statement added: "We are facing a painful reality, as the essence of the Women's Protection Units (YPJ) is under fierce attack by the enemies of humanity. Despite our certainty that the truth will emerge no matter how long it takes, and that silence will not conceal it, the responsibility to defend the Women's Protection Units against the ideology of ISIS/Daesh falls on every person who believes in human dignity."

The statement emphasized that those who carry the honor of the Women's Protection Units (YPJ) carry the honor of humanity itself. Killing a fighter who defends her land does not only target a body, but also targets history, values, and continuity. It clarified, "We have seen how their sacrifices transformed into thousands of new lives that formed a wide support network. It is our duty to raise our voices against the jihadists' attempts to undermine the Women's Protection Units. To rebuild a free life, we must unite and stand as one. Defending the Women's Protection Units is defending humanity, and it is also defending leader Abdullah Ocalan. As women of Rojava, we will do everything in our power and continue the struggle as we have done so far for the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan."
