"Kobani will remain steadfast against any aggression or attempt at occupation"

After failing to capture and occupy Kobani through ISIS mercenaries, the Turkish occupying state is now directly attacking Kobani, using drones and its mercenaries. Despite its repeated attempts, it has only met with failure and losses in its war, thanks to the fierce resistance shown by the fighters in Qarqouzak Bridge and the Tishrin Dam. 

 The displaced residents of occupied Afrin, residing in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood, expressed their full readiness to support the people and fighters of Kobani in confronting the Turkish occupation plans.

 In this context, Amina Suleiman confirmed that "Turkey is launching its attacks today using drones, whereas in its previous war in 2014, it relied on ISIS, which ended in failure."

 She added that "Kobani will remain steadfast against any aggression or attempt at occupation, as it has done before," and emphasized the unity of the residents and fighters in resisting the occupation.

 Amina affirmed their commitment to the support decision, saying: "We will do everything we can to support them, even if it requires us to take up arms for and with them." Kobani is a symbol of resistance and will remain so.

 Regarding the targeting of a vehicle carrying journalists by the Turkish occupying state, which led to their martyrdom while returning from the Tishrin Dam after covering the events there, Amina explained, "The journalists were documenting the crimes committed by the Turkish occupying state against civilians and exposing its practices. Therefore, it targeted them with a drone while they were covering the resistance at the Tishrin Dam, fearing the exposure of the truths."

 For her part, Leyla Ahmed pointed out the Turkish occupation state's inability to break the will of the fighters, saying: "Turkey targeted the journalists who wanted to convey the epics written by the heroes at the Tishrin Dam against its attacks." She also mentioned that they previously bombed the Kobani FM radio station to silence the voices that speak the truth.

 Leyla highlighted the resistance of Kobani and the decision to hold onto the land, and affirmed: "Let the Turkish occupying state understand that it will not obtain any part of Kobani, as it imagines, even if it resorts to using all methods that offend humanity." The people are holding onto their land, considering it their dignity, and we are confident that the resistance of Kobani will triumph once again against the occupation, just as it previously triumphed in its war against ISIS.

 Iman Horo condemned the threats directed by the Turkish occupying state against Kobani, and affirmed: "We reject any aggression against it and will not allow the Turkish occupation to occupy it. The resistors in occupied Kobani will teach a harsh lesson."

 Regarding the position of the displaced people of Afrin towards the Kobani issue, she said: "We, the people of Afrin, stand with our people in Kobani, and for them, we will take up arms and defend it if necessary." Kobani will remain a thorn in the side of the occupation, and they will not be able to eliminate it no matter what they do.

 On December 19, the Turkish occupation state targeted journalists Jihan Belkin, a correspondent for our agency (Hawar new agency), and Nazim Dashtan while they were returning from the Tishrin Dam on the road connecting the city of Serin and the Tishrin Dam.
